Scout-made jam raises money for charity

Jam made by 30th Abingdon Scouts has helped raise some money for charity.  On the 11th September, the scouts made jam as part of the Creative Challenge badge.  There was some left over so James took all four patrols’ jam home in one pan and put it into jars to make “mixed fruit jam”.  At the harvest church parade at ABC yesterday, four jars of the jam were auctioned off (along with a lot of other locally grown or produced items) to raise money for Operation Agri.  The four jars sold for a total of £10 which is not bad for leftovers!
